Day1/2 Colombo

Gangaramaya Temple: Start with this iconic Buddhist temple known for its eclectic architecture and
serene ambiance.
Seema Malaka Temple: Located on Beira Lake, this picturesque temple is a short walk from
Gangaramaya.
National Museum of Colombo: Explore Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and art through its extensive
collections.Viharamahadevi Park: Relax in this lush park, which features fountains, flower gardens, and a
statue of Buddha.
Galle Face Green: Enjoy a seaside promenade and taste local street food as the sun sets.

Day 3/4 Sigiriya

Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress located in the central Matale District near
the town of Dambulla in Sri Lanka. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Sri Lanka’s most
iconic landmarks.
Historical Significance: Built in the 5th century AD by King Kashyapa, Sigiriya served as a royal palace
and fortress. It later became a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century.
Architecture: The site features the remains of an extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens,
reservoirs, and structures. The most notable is the Lion’s Gate, with massive lion paws carved into the
rock.

Day 6/7 Kandy

Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa): This sacred Buddhist temple houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha, making it one of the most important religious sites in Sri Lanka. The temple’s stunning architecture and serene atmosphere are a must-see.
